Our Correspondnet Diphu, Oct. 7 (EMN): In a case of human trafficking, a teenage girl who went missing from Diphu in 2011 was finally rescued from Zero, Arunachal Pradesh, on October 6, through the joint effort of the Karbi Anglong Women Justice Forum (KAWJF) and One-Stop Centre NGO of Arunachal Pradesh. The victim’s family members in a press conference at the office of KAWJF on Friday said that in 2011 their 14-year-old daughter had gone missing. They alleged that a woman named Hanri (Ka-et) Terangpi, wife of Sarsing Teron of Birla Ram Teron, Diphu had lured their daughter from Diphu Mela held at Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) playground in 2011 and took her to Guwahati.
