The 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid marks 16 years since the debut of the original hybrid Accord.
It gets between 43 and 48 mpg combined depending on trim, and it doesn t need to be plugged in.
The hybrid starts at $26,570. My innocuous $37,435 loaner taught me blending in isn t so bad.
It s an age-old question: Would you rather fly or be invisible?
You could choose invisibility, letting you be wherever you want whenever you want without the awkward task of explaining why you belong. You d be unperceived. Unassuming. You d simply exist and observe things you wouldn t have otherwise. Or you could fly! You could soar wherever you wanted, wind in your face and airline fares in your rearview forever. It might not have the same Fast and Furious pop-culture clout worn by the Toyota Supra of that age, but among car people, it s in the same class: worthy of worship and a whole lot of money on the used market.
The trouble with hero worship of that magnitude, of course, is once you do it, it s nigh impossible for a successor to reach it let alone surpass it. In that sense, the new NSX was born to lose.

The Hakone starts at $29,870 while the regular 86 starts at $27,060.

As I crawled around the parking lot of a local construction project abandoned long before the windows even went in, camera in one hand and trying to avoid a trail of ants with the other, a familiar red car pulled up. Some old friends had spotted me as they drove by, pulling into the lot to check out my funky green car for the week. It was, admittedly, a hard car to miss.
