hills developed at Rs 3.5 crore over two years; local residents complain to civic authorities and
forest officials
Saffron fox, golden tiger, black rhino or even a common bear that’s painted beyond recognition without any sense of aesthetics have not only caught the eyes of common citizens who throng the Mhatoba hill in Kothrud frequently but would hardly serve any educational purpose to children for whom the installations were set up amid the lush green forest.
Early this year,
Arai hill, on Paud Road in Kothrud as
Van Udyan. Under the project, at least Rs 3.5 crore was spent by the state government over the past two years and the hill was developed as a tourist destination.
