Work is progressing on five public-private partnership (P3) high schools in Alberta, supporting about 1,700 construction-related jobs and saving taxpayers an estimated $100 million.
Five new high schools in Alberta are on track to open to students in September 2024. The announcement was made on Thursday by Infrastructure Minister Prasad Panda at the future site of Ohpaho School in Leduc.
Five new high schools moving ahead through a public-private partnership (P3) will save Alberta taxpayers $114.5 million, support 1,678 jobs and provide about 7,000 new student spaces as part of Alberta’s Recovery Plan.
