A SOUTHAMPTON graduate has struck a Hollywood deal with her thriller novel. Vicki FitzGerald, a Solent University journalism graduate, pitched her manuscript for her thriller, Kill List, to Emmy-nominated Hollywood producer Ken Atchity at the Dublin Writers Conference in 2019 for a TV or film adaption. The mum-of-two was selected from 50 entrants for the final ten to pitch again t Ken and Binnur Karaevli, writer and producer, and her idea outshone all the contestants. Ken, who has produced more than 30 Hollywood movies, including sci-fi shark blockbuster, The Meg, loved to concept and has published Kill List via Story Merchant Books. Vicki, 40, said: When the conference organiser approached me and said my name was the only one given to him by Ken for film treatment, I was stunned.
