Kim Thi Bich Tien’s love story with her armless husband started out with curiosity that turned into a happy ending.
Tien, a 26-year-old kindergarten teacher, originally from the Mekong Delta province of An Giang, was doing household chores in her rented room in Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An City, located in Binh Duong Province, approximately 30 kilometers east of Ho Chi Minh City, waiting for her husband to get back home from work.
Vietnam seeks to end TB by 2030

Health authorities are proactively seeking to identify early cases of tuberculosis among high-risk groups instead of waiting for sick people to show up at hospitals. In the past the health sector in Vietnam always sat back and waited until people had already developed TB symptoms to begin treatment, and that has not been enough, Nguyen Viet Nhung, deputy director of the National Lung Hospital, said.
