Alton man charged with Class X meth possession

EDWARDSVILLE An Alton man was charged with a Class X felony for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. The case was among a number of drug- and alcohol-related felony filings April 9 by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Robert E. Hodges, 47, of Alton, was charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a Class X felony.
The case was presented by the Alton Police Department.
According to court documents, on April 9 Hodges allegedly was found to be in possession of between 15-100 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
