With the core of last year’s playoff team back, expectations were high to begin this season for the Concord High girls’ basketball. That didn’t change after the Crimson Tide then won its first two games, and three of its first five.

The Concord girls’ hockey team scored four goals in the first period and seven different players recorded points in a 7-1 win against Bishop Brady-Trinity-West on Saturday night at Everett Arena.
“The girls are working hard and every player contributed to this win,” Crimson Tide coach Tim Herbert said. “We’ll build on the gains we’ve made as we head into the final two weeks of the season.”
