Okay squash match.
Pretty good match with these two.
Eddie Guerrero vs. Lord Steven Regal:
Pretty good match.
Once again, good match.
Ric Flair and Arn Anderson vs. Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage:
Solid tag match, though the main event once again ending in interference is getting pretty old at this point.
Overall, I would say that Nitro was definitely the better show. While there was nothing amazing on Nitro, it was better than Raw, which was pretty forgettable. Raw was notable for featuring the debut of the Ringmaster himself, Steve Austin. Not to mention that there was a Billionaire Ted sketch that implied that WCW wrestlers were on steroid. The Monday Night Wars, everyone. Raw would win the ratings with a 3 compared to Nitro’s 2.8, marking the first time in the wars that either show scored anything above a 2.
