Among the fees that are changing under the new budget are new fines for scooter operators that allow their devices to be used in prohibited parts of the city and a new 20-cent fee that will be tacked onto every ride.
A virtual public meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday where city officials will reveal renderings for the park that has been closed since 2017 due to the ongoing construction around old city hall. The park is projected to reopen in February 2022.
