Kendal Town continued to make the most of their return to action as they secured their second victory in the pre-season play-offs. Ben Anderson s brace guided the Mintcakes to their second win since returning to action after they defeated a strong Morecambe Academy side 2-1 at the Parkside Road Stadium on Tuesday night. Player-manager Chris Humphrey made changes for the game which included the return of Jna’I Butterfield Steed, while young goalkeeper James Hoskins played in place of Morgan Bacon. Seydou Bamba and Hugo Rodriguez were among the players to be rested, while some players from the reserve team also featured.
