It is pretty rare for a student to get a full ride to college, yet Kings Mountain High School senior Olivia Green walked away with three.
Green, along with the rest of the Class of 2021, crossed the graduation stage at John Gamble Stadium on Saturday, signifying the end of time as a Mountaineer. I m really excited, said Green ahead of the ceremony. (Graduation) is going to be all normal for us this year. It is like the one normal thing we get this year, which is really exciting.
Green leaves Kings Mountain near the top of her class and with three of the most prestigious scholarships in the nation in her pocket: the Jacke Kent Cooke Foundation, Bill Gates Scholarship and a full ride courtesy of QuestBridge National College Match program, which helps students get matched with colleges and full four-year scholarships.
