the opposite of the big lie which was obama care. if the revised bill doesn t pass, though, kentucky senator rand paul who plans to vote against it, said the president is very interested in his idea, to divide repeal and replace into two separate bills and then work with democrats on what exactly to replace it with. if it doesn t happen, if the senate leadership can t put it together, my hope is that he steps into the fray and helps push this along. he s indicated that he s open to my idea, which is separate it into a clean repeal. and democrats and the big government republicans could work on the spending plan. and the rest of us, including the moderates, could vote on a clean repeal. if the current bill doesn t pass, though, mcconnell has said they will instead try working with democrats to simply fix obama care. this weekend, though, going into next week, his focus is really on not losing another republican so his revised healthcare plan can have a shot at passing. gillian?
