that the commonwealth, and that s what the government is called in massachusetts, can be held responsible if they lose exculpatory evidence. that evidence would have been likely to affect the outcome of the proceeding. in a sense, the defense is doing the commonwealth a favor, putting it on record. if you have this evidence, you may object later on to the scope of what we have to provide, but for now, put a lock on it. seal it. don t lose it. if you do lose it, then we re going to come after you as the defense for losing it and ask the court to dismiss the case. that was a glimpse into part of the defense s plan going forward. lisa, any surprises there in the courtroom? no. what you really saw was a lot of the pain staking housekeeping that goes on early on in the trials. it doesn t win the riveting award. we saw kevin spacey. he looked haggard, i think it is fair to say. he didn t speak, as far as i could hear, during the hearing. i think we heard a thank you to the judge. min
it is interesting he no longer has to come in march, when the charges are also brought forth against him, craig. katie feng, right now, presumably, mr. spacey is, again, meeting with probation, being ordered by the judge to stay away from the victim in this case, stay away from the victim s family, as well. what other restrictions are they likely to put on spacey? so i m glad you asked that question, craig. i don t know if you heard it in the judge s voice, but he was kind of goading the prosecution to ask, are you sure you don t want further limitations at this time? specifically, do you not want spacey to travel outside of the united states. in the harvey weinstein arraignment, craig, there were serious leimitations geographically for weinstein. we didn t hear the similar restrictions placed on mr. spacey at this time. it was no surprise though that the stay away order was entered. i think what was interesting is defense wanted a really wide range of time, from july 7th or

chelsea handler in a while but here we go, she posted this message to twitter yesterday saying bill cosby is set to serve 3 to 10 years in prison but when released he is expected to be nominated to the supreme court. the direction from bill cosby to brett cavanagh, and plenty of critical comments. one twitter user saying i love how you correlate the bill cosby case and brett kavanaugh, like saying apples and oranges are the same, stop the sensationalism. keep laughing and losing. not the least bit funny but extremely effective. with death threats, brett cavanagh receiving messages like this, so predictable. we haven t heard from doctor ford yet. let s move on.
