GUWAHATI: A social media page India in Pixels has recently come into limelight after a post on the statistics on women drinker State-wise was published on July 27, 2020, caught the attention of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.
The post showcased Arunachal as having the highest number of women drinkers in India followed by Sikkim. In the post, along with a graphics, the statistics stated, Among women who drink alcohol, 18 per cent drink it almost every day, and 35 per cent drink it about once a week.

GUWAHATI: Asom Jatiya Parishad (AJP) president Lurinjyoti Gogoi has underlined that the forthcoming Assembly election in the State will be a straight fight between regionalism and nationalism.
