KALAMAZOO, MI May is National Bike Month and the 10th Annual Kalamazoo Area Bike Week is set to roll beginning Saturday, May 8.
The eight-day celebration of bicycling in Kalamazoo runs through May 15 and features dozens of events and activities designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike to learn about, support and enjoy bicycling.
Bike Week 2021 is being coordinated by area nonprofit Bike Friendly Kalamazoo.
The week kicks off with the annual Mayor’s Ride at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8 and will feature everything from a Mother’s Day Ride, to courses in gravel road riding techniques, bike bingo, bicycle yoga, bike repair clinics, organized trail clean-ups and group ride rides, to numerous webinars and information on local bike clubs.
