David Robertson An independent family newsagent and café business in Moray has secured a six-figure coronavirus business interruption loan to help it through the pandemic. Banking giant HSBC said it had backed the family business’s award-winning Buckie newsagent, gift shop and coffee shop, JP Pozzi, and sister company Bijou by the Sea, a seaside café in the Moray town, “to help to sustain them while the coronavirus forces the hospitality and non-essential retail industries to remain closed”. The funding has allowed the business to launch its first e-commerce site for the shop and café, and to complete its renovation of its Bijou Elgin coffee shop.
