The restrictions will remain in place for another week after which the situation would be reviewed and further instructions might be issued, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said.
In the past few weeks, there has been a marked decline in cases in the state.
Bihar began lifting Covid lockdown restrictions, in force in the state for more than a month, from June 9.
Certain curbs, however, will not be lifted, the govt announced. Night curfew and shortened business hours will continue to be in force. The restriction on public gatherings also remains in place.
Some of these restrictions will remain in force for another week after which there would be a review and further instructions would be issued, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said.
