Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) totalling Rs 50,530 crore were sealed with around 300 companies for proposed investments in various sectors in Bihar during the two-day global investors summit which concluded here on Thursday, officials said.

In Bihar, Adani Group has invested Rs 850 crore in logistics, gas distribution, and agri logistics, creating direct and indirect jobs for 3,000 people.
The Adani Group pledged an additional investment of Rs 8,700 crore in Bihar across various sectors like cement, logistics, and agro-industry during the Bihar Business Connect-2023 summit. Pranav Adani, Director of Adani Enterprises, highlighted plans for the substantial investment, expecting it to create employment opportunities for around 10,000 people in the state. The group, having previously invested Rs 850 crore in Bihar, aims to escalate its involvement significantly.
