Around 10 days ago, the now-deceased woman s 15-year-old daughter was allegedly molested by the accused, identified as Chandan Yadav.
The woman confronted Chandan after the molestation incident.
On Wednesday morning, Chandan and his supporters opened fire at the woman and her family members.
Patna: It seems that the law and order situation is collapsing in Bihar as a 25-year-old allegedly shot dead a 40-year-old woman after she objected to the molestation of her 15-year-old daughter by him. The killing took place at Jaggubigha village within the jurisdiction of Fatuha police station in Patna (rural) early Wednesday.
