The much-anticipated Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF) is finally here to thrill, educate and entertain children and young adults of all ages. The 12th edition of the region’s largest literary and cultural event for children will open tomorrow, May 19 (Wednesday), at Expo Centre Sharjah.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, the annual extravaganza attracts a large number of children’s participation in the highly popular interactive sessions organised throughout the 11-day festival.
