Bigblu Broadband to sell stake in Quickline for up to £48 6m | 23 April 2021

23 April 2021 | 08:57am StockMarketWire.com - Broadband provider Bigblu Broadband said it had conditionally agreed to sell its stake in Quickline to global private markets investment firm Northleaf Capital Partners for up to £48.6 million. The sale represented an excellent return for shareholders of up to 5.8 times the cost of BBB s investment, the company said. Upon completion, the company s remaining operations would consist of its Australasian operations, SkyMesh and its Nordics business, Bigblu Norge AS. Under the terms of the deal, Bigblu would a receive a payment of up to £41.1 million of which £31.1 million would be payable on completion, with a further £10.1 million as an earnout provision being met by no later than 31 March 2022, or in certain circumstances, 31 May 2022.

8 February 2021 | 09:02am StockMarketWire.com - Broadband services provider Bigblu Broadband said it had signed an exclusive partner agreement with Asia Pacific broadband satellite operator Kacific Broadband to provide a broadband internet service initially across New Zealand. It is anticipated that the company will invest up to £1.0m in the first year of the agreement, he company said. The investment will be partially offset by revenue share earned from new customers, and BBB anticipates that given the scale of the expected roll out, the project will breakeven within c.20 months of launch and will be earnings accretive thereafter, it added.

Quickline joins CityFibre s network | 19 January 2021

19 January 2021 | 14:10pm StockMarketWire.com - Bigblu Broadband said its subsidiary Quickline Communications has joined CityFibre s full fibre networks to deliver home broadband services in four locations across England. CityFibre is the UK s third national digital infrastructure platform and is currently engaged in a £4 billion investment programme. Quickline s ultrafast full fibre services will be available to homes in Doncaster, Leeds, Huddersfield and Batley and Dewsbury. Andrew Walwyn, chief executive Officer of Bigblu Broadband, said: ‘We are delighted that this enables Quickline to further expand its gigabit service reach.
