Scott and Sadie,
I date a woman who is wonderful in every way except one. She s a horrible driver. She talks on the phone. Doesn t pay attention. It s like she is in her own little world.
Accordingly, her car is a POS. There is always something wrong with it. Two months ago, it was time for her to leave for work. I work from home. Her car wouldn t start, she asked to use mine. I let her. She promptly rear-ended someone on the way to work. So I had to pay to have that fixed.
Last week, the same thing happened. Her car wouldn t start. She asked to use mine. This time I said NO and I offered to pay for her Uber.

Have you ever left a big tip at a restaurant or bar to impress someone? Maybe you regretted it afterward . . . but would you EVER consider actually trying to TAKE IT BACK?
A server recently shared a story about a customer who did that, and it went viral.
A guy came in and SPOILED his date . . . ordering expensive stuff, including an entire array of appetizers. When the bill came, he insisted on paying. It came to $289, and he tipped $100. That s generous . . . almost 35%.
Not long after they left, he ran back into the place alone, demanding that they reduce his tip to just $20, which is only 7%. And he was a jerk about it, saying that if it didn t go through correctly, he d dispute it with his credit card company.

These researchers could have just stuck with the term road rage . . . because this new term seems needlessly sexual: According to psychologists at the University of Houston, if you get angry behind the wheel a lot, you
maybe experiencing accelerousal.
In psychology, arousal is anything that causes stress, so it s not necessarily sexual. And they think accelerousal might be genetic. So your parents might be the reason you re acceleroused.
People who experience it deal with about 50% more stress than drivers who don t. And even small things can trigger accelerousal . . . like having to hit the brakes for a red light.
