The Lonesome Haunts are a local band featuring some of the city's best musicians and friends. Their recent release Wreck You sees the band shifting in dynamic and combining romantic lyrics with rock and roll music.
Houston artists Christopher Seymore, Patrick B. Ray, D.C. Heiser and South Texas Tweak began the Houston Horni Tonk Society in an attempt to create a community to support and encourage classic country musicians. They host Horni Tonk Tuesdays every Tuesday at Shoeshine Charley's Big Top Lounge.
Tremoloco was formed by Los Angeles based musician Tony Zamora who has incorporated Houston's Roberto Rodriguez III on accordion since they began in 2008. Tremoloco is performing in Houston before retuning to California to record their fourth album.
