An 18-point second half lead evaporated, but some last-second heroics from Brad Davison allowed Wisconsin men’s basketball to beat Penn State 75-74 in the Big Ten Tournament Thursday night.
The Nittany Lions had a chance to win the game with the final shot with a drive into the lane, but Nate Reuvers blocked the shot, and Davison was able to grab the ball and call timeout in mid-air to give possession to the Badgers with 0.8 seconds left. Wisconsin then fired up a downcourt inbound pass to seal the win.
