“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for giving me the ability to play the game that I love,” Cornwall said on Instagram. “After reviewing my options, I have decided to use my final year of eligibility at Penn State! We are!”
Cornwall played four seasons for the Runnin’ Bulldogs and became known for his elite three-point shooting ability. For his career at Gardner-Webb, the guard shot 42% from downtown on 4.5 three-point shots per game. During his first year with the team, he averaged 7.7 points per game and shot 44% from three-point range, which earned him All-Big South Freshman Team honors.
