big brother watch says this is the kind of policy that would be more suited to iran or china. rather than the supposedly free and democratic united kingdom. shepard: jonathan hunt, thank you. the nation s highest court has ruled that jails have a right to strip search you for just about anything. even just a minor offense. that means things like traffic tickets and unpaid fine could still result in what they call an invasive inspection. think about what that means. this has happened after this new jersey man claimed jail officials violated his cill rights when they strip searched him after cops said that he hadn t paid a fine. that it turns out he he did pay the fine is neither here nor there. the majority in the supreme court case cited security concerns saying the severance are justified to keep drugs and weapons from getting inside the jail. of course there was a dissenting opinion. justice stephan breyer wrote that there should be
