i had the honor of writing about in this story. she s out there doing it. she didn t want to be stuck in a home depot putting all of her, you know, wages right back into rent. she knew she couldn t do that forever. she decided to shake it up, get in an rv, go out on the road. it s hard out there. i mean, you saw she s still wearing the arm brace from doing the amazon work, but her attitude is amazing. the economy is pretty messed up, but she s found a family out there. what that means when she can t work anymore is the big scary question. and before that, she thought about taking her life. she did. with that dark sense of humor, which is what i love so much about linda. she went to thanksgiving dinner instead. part of the way you tell this story is the cultural implications of this shifting economy, right. people generally want to be employed during their lives and then be unemployed by choice during the end of their lives. that s how we think about it. you write, ageing just isn
