to announce probably shortly after february 15th. the president is basically saying congress doesn t matter in this process, he is saying they are waigs theare wasting tl these congressle a leadional le president saying we don t have to have a second government shutdown or a bipartisan deal, i can just make this a national emergency and find the money to build the wall on my own. so the president is setting the stage making sure people know this is what is coming and once congress comes up with a deal, he is likely to reject it and go ahead and do this on his own, which a lot of republicans are not too happy about. they want to make sure that they are asserting themselves as a co-equal branch of government and the branch of government that has the for power over the purse strings. totally absent those discussions is presidential leadership. the president saying that we are already building the border wall, we don t have to call it a wall, but then tweeting that it does have to be cal
