Human remains were found near a home on Big Island Lake Cree Nation on May 3. A forensic autopsy identified the remains as 20-year-old Dominic Kahpoonapit.
The Mounties say a forensic autopsy conducted on Tuesday revealed that they belong to 20-year old Dominic Kahpoonapit from Big Island Lake Cree Nation. He was reported missing to RCMP on Dec. 13.
