W. Morrissey (formerly Big Cass) made his Impact Wrestling debut this past Sunday at Rebellion and will make his TV debut tonight. Fightful Select reports that Morrissey has signed a contract with the company and will be a part of the roster “for the foreseeable future.” This is his first contract with a wrestling company since he was released by WWE in June 2018. Sources claim that Morrissey has been motivated and easy to work with behind-the-scenes at various appearances he’s made after he returned to wrestling.

Kenny Omega celebration, W Morrissey appearance set for Impact

Following his victory over Rich Swann to claim the Impact Unified World title at Rebellion, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will be hosting an in-ring celebration on this week s Impact Wrestling. In a long match that main evented the show, Omega pinned Swann after hitting the One Winged Angel to add the Unified title to his collection that also includes the AAA Mega championship. The show will also feature the TV debut of W. Morrissey (the former Big Cass). It s unclear whether he ll be in a match or just an appearance. Morrissey was a surprise debut at Rebellion, aligning with Violent By Design and subbing in for the injured Eric Young. Morrissey, Cody Deaner, Rhino and Joe Doering defeated Willie Mack, Eddie Edwards, Chris Sabin and James Storm. Morrissey got the win on Mack after the East River Crossing and kept attacking Mack after the match.
