On the heels of a historic Rebellion pay-per-view that saw Kenny Omega defeat Rich Swann to become the company s new world champion, Impact Wrestling hit the AXS TV airwaves with a cloud of uncertainty hanging overhead.
What would the new Impact look like with Omega at the helm? What influence would The Cleaner have on the product?
Would Swann attempt to follow up his disappointing loss by trying to remain in the title picture?

Impact Wrestling is advertising the following matches and events for tonight’s television show.
-An in-ring celebration for Kenny Omega.
-Taylor Wilde vs. Kimber Lee.
-W. Morrissey (f/k/a Big Cass) debuts on the Impact show.
-Josh Alexander vs. Ace Austin for the X Division Championship.
Powell’s POV: Impact Wrestling airs Thursdays on AXS TV at 7CT/8ET with a replay at 10CT/11ET. The Before The Impact pre-show airs at 6CT/7ET and will feature Deaner vs. James Storm. The “Impact In 60” nostalgia show airs in between the Impact airings and will focus on Mahabali Shera. Today’s flashback pay-per-view will be the TNA Lockdown event from 2013 headlined by Jeff Hardy vs. Bully Ray in a cage match for the TNA Title, and will air on AXS at 2CT/3ET. W. Morrissey (formerly Big Cass) made his Impact Wrestling debut this past Sunday at Rebellion and will make his TV debut tonight. Fightful Select reports that Morrissey has signed a contract with the company and will be a part of the roster “for the foreseeable future.”
This is his first contract with a wrestling company since he was released by WWE in June 2018. Sources claim that Morrissey has been motivated and easy to work with behind-the-scenes at various appearances he’s made after he returned to wrestling.

Impact Wrestling has announced W. Morrissey (formerly known as Big Cass and CazXL) will appear on Thursday’s show.
The former WWE star made his promotional debut by working an eight-man tag team match at last Sunday’s Rebellion PPV. );
Fightful Select reports that Morrissey has signed a contract with the company and will be a part of the roster “for the foreseeable future.”

Following his victory over Rich Swann to claim the Impact Unified World title at Rebellion, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will be hosting an in-ring celebration on this week s Impact Wrestling.
In a long match that main evented the show, Omega pinned Swann after hitting the One Winged Angel to add the Unified title to his collection that also includes the AAA Mega championship.
The show will also feature the TV debut of W. Morrissey (the former Big Cass). It s unclear whether he ll be in a match or just an appearance.
Morrissey was a surprise debut at Rebellion, aligning with Violent By Design and subbing in for the injured Eric Young. Morrissey, Cody Deaner, Rhino and Joe Doering defeated Willie Mack, Eddie Edwards, Chris Sabin and James Storm. Morrissey got the win on Mack after the East River Crossing and kept attacking Mack after the match.
