Free live music and dance performances are set to return to Watford s bandstand in Cassiobury Park. The bandstand near The Cha Café and the park’s Shepherds Road entrance will be a focal point for Watford Borough Council’s Summer of Fun programme. Every Sunday afternoon, from July to September, there will be a different performance at the bandstand - including Big Jive Swing on Sunday July 25, from 12 to 6pm. Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “It has been an extremely difficult 16 months, but with more restrictions lifting, I’m pleased that we’ve been able to big back live music to the Bandstand.
