Once March 17 hit almost 10 months ago, all activity pretty much ceased across the globe. Concerts came to a halt and livestreams popped up in their stead. Art exhibits went virtual. Theater productions became pre-filmed or livestreamed.

The Best of Holiday Shorts: A 25th Anniversary Program

WHQR s Homemade Holiday Shorts 25th Anniversary Special For the last 24 years, friends of WHQR have gathered one evening in December in our MC Erny Gallery and around their radios at home to listen to holiday stories read live by entertaining guests. Sadly, the holidays are looking a little different this year. While we won t be able to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Homemade Holiday Shorts in person, we are excited to broadcast a special Best of Holiday Shorts program. Tune in to HQR 91.3 on December 20th at 6pm and again on December 25th at 8pm to listen. This 2 hour program will compile some of the highlights from our favorite HoHo programs throughout the years. Guests will include Whiskey Creek, Rob Zapple, Big Al Hall, Tony Rivenbark, Aloha U Ukelele Trio, Rhonda Bellamy, Dorothy Rankin, Grenoldo Frasier, Annie Gray Sprunt, Karen Bender, Wiley Cash, Eleanor Stafford, David Vaughn, & Swing Shifters.
