i think the challenge is bringing him to trial let me jump in and say, what do you think of the strength of the evidence in this rico indictment? because it is broad. and a lot of stuff is in writing. to pick one example i mentioned to viewers, the head of the republican party of the state showed up lying to the government claiming to be a trump elector validly representing the state of georgia when the electoral college already certified that president biden won georgia. and that person this is him on the screen in the new mugshot said he did that at the president s direction at the time. that seems like strong evidence of those violations, no? seeking to overturn a lawful election when allegedly president trump knew he had lost goes to the heart of attacking our democracy. but the problem with that case is 19 defendants and i understand that some of them might be dismissed, some of them might make a deal, but it s still so unwieldy.
