a massive reform agenda in the middle of a national recession. we did announce right away that we were making reforms with the aclu at the table. our difference was the speed at which we moved. so when they first brought up this issue, hey, we re going to file this complaint federally because we think we need more transparency. i was ticked off. when i sat down with the leader of the justice department and said, cory, this is free consulting for you to get to the same ends, we leaned into it. we didn t wait until the report came out. we started working with the justice department right away making changes years before the report would even come out. this was a partnership from the beginning. we had a disagreement on tactics and speed, but actually i m really proud of the achievements we made while we were and again let me just jump in for one more. he also brought up the stop and frisk issue. his argument is you were getting complaints from the community so you told the police
