confirms over europeans. moderate preference for black people. that s my brand. whether you agree with what the results were, it s the conversations they have after the results. what does it mean? what are the implications of that? it does mean stuff. you connect it to how people react in school, discipline, policing, all those things, it matters. i think we ll make everybody on the crew take it. i already know who on the crew is going to have a strong preference for black people. what s up, duane? this week in milwaukee has featured a bunch of great people black meetings and one people of color meeting. hopefully it gives you a sense of what people of color are coming to and what people of color talk about regularly. we have a homework assignment. go and take the implicit bias test. whether you think you re biased or not, racism is a part of your life, with or without you knowing it. if we measure it, hopefully we can disman it.

but we ve been talking about racism and racial bias more in the context of police departments, and quite frankly, more in the context of people over 40. what was surprising to me was the notion that you have millennials who should i don t know should be educated should be more enlightened. i m very surprised we still don t do better even though we know better. charles, you re shaking your head the idea that millennials should oddly enough strangely enough that s not what the data show. when you look at the data from the racial implicit bias test the group with the highest levels of bias are older. we expect that. the second highest group is young adults those including college age students. what we have to recognize as a society that we are raising a group of people who are a part of the most diverse generation ever in this country. but also a part of an
whatever. so that was an interesting, interesting dynamic. i don t think you see all the time. whoopi has an important point there. i think. it is important to distinguish, acts of racism. racism. the power over people. believing you are interior, superior, versus ignorance. a lot of ignorant people. degrees, right. not overt. you can t, you know, you are not made to sit in the back of the bus. implicit bias. right. understand legitimate cases. figure a we to work in a liberal into the conversation. it s true. they re the ones that think they re so enlightened. secondly. you raise an important point. impolice implic implicit. look at all the tests, i looked at. how they test. they don t give you time to thing. if you take the implicit bias test on line. split decisions you make. everybody. it s not equal, right.
