From sunny vale the Valley Transportation Authority says an individual was stabbed near the ream wood station on taszman driver this afternoon. That person was taken to the hospital for several stab wounds. And police say a suspect has been taken into custody. The vta tells us some southbound trains were delayed for some time. A 14yearold girl is on life support after being hit while crossing the street right outside of her high school. Its part of an alarming trend in the south bay. Joshua Clark, a Spanish teacher at Henry E. Lackey High School, was named the recipient of the 2024 Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) Teacher of the Year honor during a Feb. 22 recognition ceremony. The event, held at St. Charles High School, honors nominees for the 2024 Washington Post Teacher of the Year and CCPS Teacher of the Year award programs.
