The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused a traditional ruler, Eze Ochiri Okeke of Umudara Amaifeke, Imo State of being the godfather of Ebube-Agu militias in the state, adding that the same operative are allegedly causing violence and killings. IPOB also named Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State among other politicians in the South-East region sponsoring attacks and killings in the region.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused the Nigerian government of torturing and slowly killing its leader, Nnamdi Kanu in the Department of State Services’ custody. Kanu had last week through his lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, raised the alarm that the DSS denied him access to his medications for nine days. He also accused the secret police of starving him of food, claiming there were no funds to buy food for him.

Omirhobo accused the government of engaging in selective justice, discrimination, suppression, repression, oppression and subjugation by detaining Kanu, a Biafra Nation agitator while the same government has allowed a confirmed terrorist leader, Bello Turji to live and operate freely in the country.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared the leader of the Yoruba self-determination movement, Ilana Omo Oodua, Prof Banji Akintoye, the enemy of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu and the Biafran struggle. IPOB in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, on Tuesday said that Prof. Akintoye during his interview with the BBC referred to Kanu as a noise maker; meanwhile, he showered praises on Kanu’s Yoruba counterpart, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho.
