Nashik: Chhagan Bhujbal, the chief of All-India Mahatma Phule Samata Parishad and state food and civil supplies minister, said the Bombay high court h.
The deceased have been identified as Amar Nagar resident Ranjit Kaur, who is in her mid-50s, and her daughter Gurpreet Kaur. The police said the two women died on the spot.
Supriya Sule was responding to questions about claims by Maharashtra minister Chhagan Bhujbal, who is with the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP, that it had been decided in the party that he would resign.
Ajit Pawar, however, said he feels that while working in politics, one must express himself properly. "But while doing so, one should take precautions to ensure that the sentiments of others are not hurt. While speaking in the political sphere, some people use unparliamentary words. All these things should be stopped," he said.
Maharashtra cabinet minister Chhagan Bhujbal criticized NCP founder Sharad Pawar for frequently changing his stand on alliances with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bhujbal, who recently broke away from NCP to join the Eknath Shinde government, claimed that 45 of the 53 NCP MLAs have gone with Ajit Pawar. He denied changing his ideology and said they have aligned with BJP but not merged with them.
