চট্টগ্রাম জেলার সন্দ্বীপের দক্ষিনে বঙ্গোপসাগরের মোহনা থেকে ভাসমান অবস্থায় ১১ জেলেকে উদ্ধার করেছে কোস্টগার্ড। মঙ্গলবার (২৭ জুলাই) রাত আটটার দিকে স্থানীয় জেলেদের সহায়তায় তাদের উদ্ধার করা হয়।
বৈরী আবহাওয়ার মাঝে এসব জেলেরা সাগরে মাছ ধরার কাজে নিয়োজিত ছিলেন। বর্তমানে তারা সকলে কোস্টগার্ড সারিকাইত কন্টিনজেন্টের হেফাজতে সুস্থ আছেন।
