Mumbai, June 11: Months after the ruling Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party regime presented its maiden budget (2023-2024), Maharashtras financial health continues to cause concern, though it s not yet on a ventilator like some other states.
According to the official, the finance department releases seven per cent of the sanctioned funds every month. “In some months, demand is more that leads to lack of funds. We are in the process of fixing these issues,” said the official.
