Maharashtra Building Collapse: A 38-year-old man was rescued on Sunday morning, 18 hours after a two-storey building collapsed in Bhiwandi town of Maharashtra's Thane district claiming three lives, officials said.

"Death toll rises to 5 in the Bhiwandi building collapse incident in Thane, Maharashtra. Further rescue operations are underway," an NDRF official said.
The death count in the collapse of a two-storey building in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra's Thane district reached six on Sunday after the body of a 40-year-old man was recovered from the debris, officials said.
