Bhalerao was passing by on Thursday evening when the accused were celebrating the wedding of a man from a so-called upper caste community and some of them were carrying swords, the police official said.
The Nanded police on Friday registered a case of murder, attempt to murder, rioting and assault under Indian Penal Code sections. Sections 3 (1) (R), 3 (1) (S), 3 (2) (VA) of Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and sections 4, 25 and 27 of Arms Act have also been added in the FIR.
