A doctor in Assam's Dibrugarh has set out to distribute some 8,000 car stickers to celebrate the consecration of the new Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya.
Street vendors in Dibrugarh town have once again set up their stalls on the footpaths, disregarding the relocation orders issued by the Dibrugarh Municipal Board four months ago. The return of the vendors has sparked concerns among citizens of the bustling town which is grappling with the challenges posed by unregulated street vending. Residents have also voiced their grievances regarding the cleanliness and hygiene maintained by the vendors.
As a part of the continued crackdown against drugs, a joint team of Arunachal Police in Namsai arrested two suspected drug peddlers with a huge quantity of contraband substances worth Rs 17.15 lakh.
