Due to heavy rainfall in Gujarat, over 11,900 people have been relocated to shelter homes and 270 stranded citizens have been rescued. The water level in the Narmada river has risen to 40 feet, leading to the evacuation of over 6,000 people. Despite a gradual decrease in water levels, some areas in Bharuch city and Ankleshwar are still submerged in knee-deep water. Relief and rescue operations are being carried out by the administration with the help of NDRF and SDRF teams. The IMD predicts further rain in Gujarat.
