Debra (West Bengal) [India], April 1 (ANI): After Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) s Mandal President of Debra, Mohan Singh, was detained by the police ruckus took place near a polling booth in West Bengal s Debra constituency here on Thursday.
The BJP workers alleged that the police are not letting a fair election to take place and enabling Trinamool Congress (TMC) people to capture the booths.
While, on the other hand, TMC party workers are accusing BJP s candidate from Debra constituency Bharati Ghosh of influencing the electorate by visiting the polling booths.

Nandigram (West Bengal) [India], April 1 (ANI): During the high-stakes second phase of West Bengal Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party s (BJP) prime candidate Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday remarked that the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) was acting desperately due to fear of losing. 70 per cent of the polls have been completed, this will go till 85-87 per cent. Our hold on booths will cross 90 pc. TMC is acting desperately due to fear of losing, Adhikari told media. They tried to capture two booths but the police observer caught them. They tried to use fake IDs at other booths and now three people have been held. They are also trying now but we have managed to prevent it, he added.

Paschim Medinipur (West Bengal) [India], April 1 (ANI): Former police officer and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Debra constituency Bharati Ghosh on Thursday alleged that her polling agent was not being allowed to enter a polling booth in Nowpara area by goons from Trinamool Congress (TMC) during the second phase of assembly elections in West Bengal.
Speaking to the media, Ghosh said: In Nowpara, booth 22, Anchal-I, my polling agent has been surrounded by 150 goons of TMC. He has not been allowed to enter the polling booth and this drama has been going on for the last 1.5 hours.
