APPLETON, Wis. (WLUK) As the COVID-19 vaccine rollout grows, so is the the gap between different races receiving the vaccine. State data shows the racial and ethnic disparities.

Wisconsin Department of Health Services breaks down data by race. As of April 6, 31.6% of white people have their received their first dose. Among Asian people, 22.1% have received theirs. Nearly 20.7% of American Indians and 13.4% of Black people have gotten their first shot.
