Brian and Beverly Cleary celebrate 40 years

Brian and Beverly (Manelski) Cleary will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Feb. 14.
The couple was married in the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church in Oklahoma City on Feb. 14, 1981, and for most of their marriage, they lived in far west Oklahoma City between Yukon and Mustang.
The couple met while attending Oklahoma State University. A 1972 graduate of Lexington High School, Brian was a reporter, editor and photographer for several publications including
Derry News, Tulsa Tribune, Journal-Record, Hardhat Magazine and
Yukon Review. He also owned Cleary Photography for 12 years. Beverly was in human resource management for most of her career. Both are retired.
