guy. ashley is here. the case has baffled investigators over a decade. today, police finally identify the suspect. greg sherman is a demon that walks among us. a predator that ruins families. if not for the members of this task force, he would still be on tp streets today. 59-year-old rex herman. he pled not guilty. he did say in tears that i didn t do this. we didn t have any evidence, this is the beginning of the case. everybody is presumed innocent in our country. early this morning, police swarmed his home on long island. it is not far from where the bodies were found. the charges are linked to three murders, all women and he s the prime suspect for a fourth that may be connected as many as ten. the investigation begins in 2010 with the search of missing 23-year-old shannon gilberts. police discovered the bodies of four other women now down as the gilgo four. back in january, they found dna on pizza crusts that connected him to three of the murders. documents
Four years later the club has 30 teams for all age groups, boys and girls club. The goal of the club is to provide soccer for any kid who wants to play while keeping fees at a minimum. We won the Association Cup in sacramento in december becoming the first San Francisco team to do so. Also won the league this year with 82 record, quite an achievement for our team in the first year as a travel team. The glens provide all equipment from uniforms, balls in practice equipment. President congratulations patricia thank you supervisor mar for that commendation. I would like to acknowledge our district 2 colleage for a commendation. Supervisor farrell i want to recognize the San Francisco glens club. Like to think the board of supervisors for giving these guys a special honor. These guys went back to back to the state cup. Last year they came up short; this year they want. They are communitybased club. It is a volunteer organization, for volunteer coaches to win the state cup it is special. Thank you very much. As a parent who coaches my kids soccer game i have been on the field against the glens, they are an intimidating presence. This is an important ordinance that will make sure that we have more smokefree festivals and events. Exposure to Secondhand Smoke kills about 3000, nonsmokers from lung cancers and 46,000 nonsmokers of Heart Disease in the u. S. Also individuals with asthma and other respiratory illnesses that is why such a Strong Coalition including young people from sf state to the asthma task force and the coalition working to make sure we have more smokefree places in San Francisco.
