Michigan women’s gymnastics wins first national title

Michigan’s women’s gymnastics team made history Saturday.
The fourth-ranked Wolverines won their first national title with a score of 198.2500, edging out Oklahoma (198.1625), Utah (197.9875) and Florida (197.1375) in Fort Worth, Texas.
“I’m just so overwhelmed, and I’m so proud of this team,” Michigan head coach Bev Plocki told ABC right after the victory. “I’m so happy for the sacrifices, hard work and everything that they put into this season.”
